What happens when you've got two cars?
Most of the time, Auto-Detect just works silently: it tracks with whichever car your phone connected to, and you never see a prompt. The one exception is the genuinely ambiguous case — two paired cars starting at the same moment, with your phone connecting to both at once. Only then does it pause to ask "Which vehicle?" so your business car and your spouse's car don't get crossed. (We tested this exact case the morning of release — both cars starting together — and the picker fired correctly for each.)
How to turn it on: Open Settings → Auto-Detect, pair each car's Bluetooth, and set its default purpose (business or personal). That's the whole setup. From then on you don't pick the vehicle by hand — Auto-Detect files your miles under the right car for you.
One honest note: Auto-Detect doesn't drive miles for you or change what you earn. What it does is make sure the miles you do drive land on the correct vehicle, so the numbers you report are clean. The value is accuracy, not magic.

More Accurate Period Comparisons
This one is less flashy but it fixes something that could quietly mislead you. When the app showed "this month vs last month," it used to compare however many days you were into the current month against your entire previous month. So on the 24th, you were comparing 24 days of earnings against a full 30 — and of course you looked "down." That wasn't a real dip. It was a calendar artifact.
In 3.6.1, every period comparison — week, month, and year — now lines up matching date ranges. Twenty-four days are compared against the same first 24 days of the prior period. Apples to apples.

A few more fixes and refinements rounded out the release:
- Company Reports sync fix. Expenses logged inside Company view weren't always landing in the right report. They now sync correctly, so combined and per-member totals add up the way you'd expect.
- Expense payment type now starts blank. When you log an expense, the payment type no longer defaults to a value you have to remember to change — you choose it deliberately, which keeps your records cleaner.
- Help and the in-app Assistant know about Auto-Detect. Ask the Assistant how Auto-Detect works, or how to set it up, and it'll walk you through it.
⚠️ A note on your old numbers: The comparison fix changes how some past "up/down" badges are calculated. Your underlying data hasn't changed at all — only the math used to compare periods got fairer. If a number looks different than you remember, the new one is the honest one.
