If your phone supports Gemini Nano, the assistant uses on-device AI for smarter intent recognition. Otherwise, it falls back to advanced search heuristics — either way, you get accurate answers from a 60+ topic knowledge base. Open the AI Assistant
On the Dashboard, tap the ✨ sparkle icon next to the clock card. The assistant opens as a chat screen where you can type questions or use voice input. You can also access it from the ⋮ menu on any tab throughout the app — it's always one tap away no matter where you are.

Ask About Your Data
Type a question about your real business data and the assistant pulls the answer instantly. Ask "How much did I earn this week?" and get revenue, tips, trip count, and your $/hour. Ask "What are my top expenses?" and see your spending ranked by category. Every answer comes from your actual data — not generic advice. The assistant uses 16+ query templates with fuzzy matching so you don't have to phrase things perfectly.

Use Voice Input
Tap the 🎤 microphone icon in the chat input to speak your question. A pulsing animation shows the assistant is listening. Live transcription appears on screen as you speak so you can see exactly what it's hearing. When you pause, it auto-stops and processes your question. Perfect for asking quick questions while driving between deliveries — no typing needed.

The assistant knows 60+ topics covering every feature in TrakMiles Pro. Ask how-to questions like "How do I set up vendors?" or "How do I export to PDF?" and get step-by-step answers. If your phone supports Gemini Nano, the assistant uses on-device AI for smarter intent recognition and natural language understanding. On other devices, it falls back to advanced search heuristics — either way, you get the same accurate answers.

Get Set Up as a New User
New to TrakMiles Pro? Tap "Get Set Up" for a guided 7-step walkthrough. The assistant walks you through adding your first vehicle, choosing a tracking mode, setting up bank accounts, adding vendors and payors, configuring backup, and customizing your dashboard. Each step links directly to the right screen — follow along at your own pace.

What You Can Ask
The full list of what your assistant handles: earnings and revenue queries, tip analysis, mileage totals and comparisons, tax deduction calculations, expense breakdowns by category or vendor, hours worked and utilization rates, dollars per hour and per mile, period comparisons (this week vs last week), platform breakdowns by payor, and how-to questions about any feature.
