Welcome to Time Management
Time tracking is the backbone of your analytics. Without clocking in, TrakMiles Pro can't calculate your utilization rate, your dollars per hour, or how your earnings compare across days and weeks. Every insight — from "Am I spending too much time between deliveries?" to "Which days earn me the most per hour?" — depends on your clocked time. In this tutorial, you'll walk through 7 steps to master the time clock across your Dashboard, notifications, widget, and reports.
1
Clock In from the Dashboard
Open TrakMiles Pro and you're on the Dashboard. The clock card sits at the top — tap the green ▶ play button to clock in. You'll see "Clocked In" with a live running timer and the time you started. No dialogs, no extra taps — just tap and go.
📍 Dashboard → Clock Card → ▶ Play
2
Monitor Your Active Shift
While clocked in, your Dashboard updates in real time. The timer counts up on the clock card. Your Hours widgets — today, this week, this month — reflect your live shift. The Utilization ring shows what percentage of your clocked time you've spent driving.

3
Clock Out
When you're done working, return to the Dashboard and tap the red ⬛ stop button. Your time entry is saved automatically — clock in time, clock out time, and total duration. No confirmation needed. Your hours and utilization freeze at their final values.

4
Browse Time History
Tap the Time tab at the bottom of the screen. Your entries are organized by month — the current month is expanded by default, older months are collapsed. Tap a month to expand it. Inside, entries are grouped by day showing clock in → clock out, break time, and net duration. Each month shows total hours at a glance.

5
Edit a Time Entry
In the Time screen, find the entry you want to change. Tap the ⋮ menu on the entry row and select Edit. Adjust the clock in date and time, clock out date and time, break minutes, or add notes. The net duration recalculates automatically. Tap Save to apply your changes.
📍 Time Tab → Entry → ⋮ → Edit
6
Notifications & Home Screen Widget
You don't need to open the app to manage your clock. A persistent notification shows your clock status — tap 🟢 Clock In or 🔴 Clock Out right from the notification shade. The home screen widget has a Clock In/Out button at the bottom. And if you start driving without clocking in, a reminder pops up with a Clock In button so you never miss a shift.

Time Clock Reports & Charts
Go to Reports → Time Clock Reports. The Summary tab shows six cards — total hours, shift count, days worked, average hours per day, average shift length, and your longest and shortest days. Switch to Charts for three visualizations: Hours Worked by day of week, Hours Comparison against the prior period, and a Clock-In Pattern chart showing when you typically start your day.
